This Woman Astonishes AGT Judges with Violin Performance and Angelic Voice

America’s Got Talent has been a stage for showcasing amazing talent from around the world. Recently, it introduced audiences to Gabriella Laberge, a French-Canadian singer and violinist who is fondly remembered by Eurovision fans. Her awe-inspiring audition left an indelible mark on both the viewers and the judges.

Gabriella stepped onto the AGT stage with a heart full of dreams, as she expressed in a heartfelt pre-performance video. “This could be the chance of a lifetime,” she confessed, “to pursue my greatest passion: music.” With her violin ready, she began her performance with a tender and exquisite solo.

As the melodious notes filled the room, judges Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum were clearly captivated. However, Simon Cowell, known for his critical eye, seemed a bit skeptical at first, his hand inching toward the buzzer, possibly intending to stop the performance prematurely. But Gabriella had something special planned.

Seamlessly transitioning from her instrumental prowess, Gabriella began to sing James Blunt’s poignant “Goodbye My Lover.” Her voice, filled with emotion, immediately caught everyone’s attention, most notably Cowell’s, who quickly retracted his hand away from the buzzer.

The combination of her soothing violin and angelic voice earned Gabriella a standing ovation from the judges and the audience. Cowell, who notoriously gives compliments sparingly, joined in the applause, and the judges unanimously decided to move Gabriella forward in the competition.

Although her AGT journey continues, Gabriella’s memorable audition was broadcast during the final segment of the season’s auditions. Viewers were left anticipating the next phase. With over 150 acts vying for a spot, only the best 36 will proceed to the live shows, making the competition fiercer than ever.

Gabriella embarked on her television performing journey back in 2019 on France’s Destination Eurovision. Her song, “On cherche encore (Never Get Enough),” was widely adored by fans but she unfortunately didn’t make it past the semi-finals. The show concluded with Bilal Hassani winning the contest with the song “Roi.”

Taking on AGT, Gabriella’s audition opened a new chapter, introducing her incredible talent to a broader, international audience and rekindling the enthusiasm of her Eurovision admirers.

Regardless of the outcome in the next rounds of AGT, Gabriella’s stirring performance has undoubtedly left a profound impression not just on her supporters, but on every viewer who witnessed her gift for music.
