Though Netflix offers a wide array of terrifying films, some lesser-known titles haven’t quite hit the mainstream radar. Yet, they’re potent enough to thrill those seeking some chills. Amidst this collection, one film, in particular, has horror fans buzzing with talk and tremors.

Enter ‘Creep 2,’ the gripping sequel to 2014’s ‘Creep.’ This film continues the sinister tale of a serial killer with a propensity to lure videographers into his deadly web. Crafted by the original creators, Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass, with Duplass returning in his chilling role as ‘Aaron,’ ‘Creep 2’ stands out, boasting a flawless score on Rotten Tomatoes just like its precursor.
The Hollywood Reporter praises the sequel, stating: “The sequel will impress any fan of the original. It’s fresher than most of the low-budget thrillers gracing theatres lately.” GQ chimes in with: “A micro-budget found-footage slasher that succeeds on its own terms, mining cringes and laughs out of a slow-burn plot and a joyously unnerving performance from Duplass.”
Consequence adds: “You’re never truly convinced the narrative is going the way you think it’s going, and while that may be frustrating to some (aka, those who don’t understand the concept of psychological thrillers), it’s almost enchanting for those looking for one good scare.”

While the plot synopsis of ‘Creep 2’ keeps its cards close to the chest, it teases viewers with a taste of the eerie thrill akin to the original. The brief summary hints: “A video artist who craves shocking stories realizes she has made a mistake when she meets a serial killer in a cabin.”
For those subscribed to Netflix, ‘Creep 2’ is available at your leisure.
The film’s impact is evident in the audience’s reactions. One enthusiastic viewer expressed: “Creep 2 might be one of my favorite horror movies. Great meta-study of the found-footage genre, twice as scary as it has any right to be because of how funny it is. Catches you off guard and you never get your footing back.”
Another fan shared: “I think it’s so hard to do sequels right and they suck most of the time, but Creep 2 was such an immaculate follow-up. Like, it’s perfect.”
Loyal enthusiasts continue to sing its praises. A fan noted: “Watching Creep 2 for the millionth time. I love this movie so much.”
And, yet another commented: “Creep 2 lived up to the hype! The sense of unease all throughout the film keeps you engaged.”
