Corey Harrison, also known as Big Hoss on the popular History Channel show Pawn Stars, has recently been arrested in Las Vegas for an alleged DUI. The incident occurred late at night when Harrison’s white Ford F250 pickup was seen swerving on the road, catching the attention of law enforcement.

According to a police report obtained by Entertainment Weekly, the arresting officer observed that Harrison’s eyes appeared bloodshot and detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. Harrison, who had flown to Vegas from Minnesota that day for filming the show Pawn Stars Do America, was asked to perform a field sobriety test, which he allegedly failed.

TMZ, which first reported the news, stated that Harrison agreed to take a breathalyzer test but was unable to do so due to a malfunctioning device. Consequently, his blood was drawn for testing. The results of the test remain unknown, but Harrison was booked on an alleged DUI charge.

Speaking to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Harrison expressed his intentions to hire an attorney to defend against the charges. He stated, “I’m not going to say, ‘(Screw) Metro! Drinking and driving should be legal!’ I’m not trying to be that guy. But I’m the guy who, when I get punched in the face, I am going to fight back.”

Addressing the incident further, Harrison claimed that he had only consumed one drink on the flight to Vegas, seven hours prior to being pulled over, and had not consumed any additional alcohol afterwards. He attributed his alleged failures during the field sobriety test to various factors, including an infected right shin, difficulty maintaining balance on the paver-stone surface where he was stopped, and the departure of some officers on an emergency call.

Harrison, a prominent figure at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, has been a vital part of the Pawn Stars show since its premiere in 2009. Despite this incident, Harrison remains determined to fight the charges leveled against him.
