The Duke of Sussex broke his silence after Queen Elizabeth II’s passing by posting a heartfelt tribute on his official Instagram account.

The 37-year-old Prince Harry has paid homage to his “admired and cherished” grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died on Thursday, September 8.

On the day the Queen died, the Duke of Sussex and other members of the Royal Family paid a visit to Balmoral Castle. The Duke of Sussex and his bride, Meghan Markle, will stay in the United Kingdom for the time being.

After publicly lamenting his loss, the father of two children now expresses gratitude to the Queen for her “service,” “great advice,” and “infectious grin.”

The following is the complete statement delivered by Prince Harry, now known as the Duke of Sussex:

“In remembering my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, and mourning her loss, we are all reminded of the role she performed as a moral compass for a large number of people through her dedication to duty and service.”

Around the globe, she was regarded with great esteem and affection.

Her dignity and elegance never wavered while she was living, and they will continue long after she is gone.

Let us repeat what she remarked when her husband, Prince Philip, died: “Life, of course, consists of last partings as well as first meets.” Let us keep this in mind.”

Regardless of how difficult this final goodbye is for all of us, Granny, I will be eternally grateful for every one of our first encounters, from the earliest memories I have of my childhood spent with you, to the first time I worked for you as Commander-in-Chief, to the first time you held my adored wife and your treasured great-grandchildren in your arms.

I will be forever thankful for the times we spent together, as well as the many other wonderful events that happened in between.”

“You are already deeply missed, not just by us, but by people all across the world.” We now honour Charles in his new status as King Charles III in terms of first contacts.

I appreciate your commitment to providing service.

I appreciate your wise advice.

I wanted to thank you for your wonderful grin.

We are sorry, yet pleased that you and your grandpa are reunited and at peace.”

This announcement occurred only one day after Kate Middleton and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared with Prince Harry, his elder brother Prince William, Prince of Wales, and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.

The “Fab Four” gathered in front of Windsor Castle to greet visitors and read comments put on flowers for the Royal Family.
