There has been a lot of speculation and questions surrounding Kate Middleton recently, especially about the “abdominal procedure” that led to her being out of action until after Easter. However, we have some exciting news for all the royal fans out there.

Reports have confirmed that the Princess of Wales’ first official engagement since her surgery will take place on June 8. On that date, Kate will be reviewing Trooping the Colour, one week before the main event itself.

According to a statement on the official Household Division website, the Trooping the Colour event reviewed by Kate is identical to the one reviewed by the King.

The only difference is that some additional mounted officers ride when the King is present.

Over 1400 soldiers from the Household Division and The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including 400 musicians from the Massed Bands, will parade on Horse Guards for the second formal review.

Having a fixed date for Kate’s return to royal action is sure to alleviate the concerns of those who have been worried about her.

The lack of information surrounding her surgery has left room for speculation, with some even questioning if her condition is worse than what the Palace has let on.

The Palace itself had to release a statement reaffirming Kate’s recovery progress and assuring everyone that she is doing well.

The general public’s lack of information has only fueled the fire of rumors and speculation. Additionally, the fact that Kate had not been seen in person or in a photo since Christmas has only added to the speculation.

However, yesterday, a picture of Kate sitting in a car with her mother, Carol Middleton, outside Windsor Castle was released. This marked the first time in 70 days that Kate had been seen in public, causing another round of speculation.

Despite the Royal Family’s attempts to reassure fans that Kate is simply recovering on her own terms and away from cameras, the vacuum of information has allowed conjecture to spread.

We are excited about Kate Middleton’s return to royal duties and wish her a swift recovery. It’s great news that she is on the mend and has a set date for her comeback. Join us in supporting Kate as she resumes her royal responsibilities.
