Every parent understands what it is like to have a small child at home. No matter how much time has passed, sleepless nights are ingrained in the memory. These pauses can be lengthy or brief, but they are a necessary and normal aspect of life.

So far, nothing out of the ordinary has happened, but things become complicated when not only parents but also neighbors are unable to sleep. The baby’s family is unable to intervene, but the neighbors have the same right to sleep. So, who is right?

The above scenario, which is extremely common, occurs frequently at Nacho Duque. The father has a small girl who, regrettably, will not sleep, particularly at night. Some apartment residents were so irritated by the noise that they wrote a note and taped it to the apartment door. The complaint goes as follows:

“If you wake me up again, I’ll file a complaint with the association.  It is your responsibility to raise your children. Remember that you are not the only person who lives in this building.”

Other, more aggressive and menacing warnings have been sent to Nacho. Knowing who he was, she had sought to contact him by phone or in person. In contrast, the individual in question never opened the door or responded the calls.

As a result, the individual decided to air his grievances on the internet via his Twitter account.

“Parents, believe me, want their children to sleep soundly every night, but this is not always the case.  Sorry if my daughter’s weeping disrupts your sleep, but she was born with this “factory flaw” that cannot be changed. If I was playing drums at 4:00 a.m., I’d agree with you, but it’s no one’s fault if my daughter screams in the middle of the night.”

“If this experience hasn’t persuaded you to become a parent, I wish you the best of success in your efforts to bring silent children into the world. Finally, if you need to speak with me, please do it in person or open my door when I call. This way, I won’t feel obligated to interact via social media. That being said, good night.”

Nacho’s tweet received over 7,000 replies. Many individuals came out in his support, expressing their sympathy and compassion. Others, on the other hand, believe their neighbor is correct, claiming the right to an undisturbed night’s sleep. The majority of folks have simply suggested soundproofing the girl’s room.

After all, one person’s freedom ends where another’s freedom begins.
