Nicole Kidman has two beautiful daughters with her husband, country music star Keith Urban, and has received multiple awards for her performances in films like The Hours and on TV shows like “Big Little Lies.”

Sunday Rose, 12, and Faith Margaret, 9, are the couple’s two children. They married in Australia in 2006 following a brief relationship.

At a “G-Day LA” gathering commemorating Australian accomplishments, Nicole and Keith first got to know one another in 2005. When Kidman first met Keith Urban, she claimed in a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair that she was already secretly engaged to someone.

When Urban finally asked Kidman out on a date, it took him four months, but they wasted no time and became engaged three months later.

In a 2015 interview, Kidman admitted that, on June 25, 2006, at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel on the grounds of St. Patrick’s Estate in Manly, Sydney, they didn’t really know each other.

“We fell in love immediately, became engaged within three months, and were married quite quickly,” the 53-year-old actress told Metro. “But we weren’t really acquainted.”

She continued, “We really just began to know one another after we were married,” in the 2017 article.

“I think it matters when you meet someone at a certain age. I also trust my instincts. I immediately thought, “Ahhh OK, I’ve met home,” when I first met him. He felt the same way as well. That was all we had, yet it was the foundation for our construction.

Kids of Nicole Kidman

The couple’s first child, Sunday Rose, was born in Nashville on July 7, 2008.

On his website, Keith wrote, “Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our gorgeous baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We would want to express our appreciation to everyone who has thought of and prayed for us.

“We feel really lucky and grateful to be able to share our happiness with all of you today.”

Despite having severe morning sickness for the majority of the first trimester of her pregnancy, Sunday Rose was born healthy and weighing 6 pounds, 7.5 ounces, according to Kidman.

Kidman claimed that one of her ancestors suggested the name Sunday, which her family abbreviated to “Sunny,” when she read about Sunday Reed, an early Australian art supporter.

After Sunday was born, Kidman and Urban waited two years before having their second child. The couple hid the fact that their second biological daughter had been born.

On December 28th, 2010, Faith Margaret was born in the Women’s Hospital at Centennial in Nashville. The parents proclaimed at the time, “Our family is extremely blessed, and just so appreciative, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret.”

Children of Keith Urban

No words can adequately explain how grateful we are to everyone who has been so supportive throughout this process, especially our gestational carrier.

Given how protective their parents are of them and how strongly they believe in providing a quality education for their children, it is hard to imagine the two girls are now 12 and 9 years old.

In honor of his wife’s outstanding parenting skills, Urban and his record company, UMG Nashville, made a sentimental message on Mother’s Day this year.

“She is a wonderful mother, she really is. Those girls are really privileged, and I count myself fortunate that Nic is the mother of the children I should have in this world.”

“Nic has experience parenting kids, which is extremely helpful because it allows me to have an experience that I otherwise wouldn’t have had.”

Her empathy and appreciation of them as individuals rather than as small children are very remarkable. It’s quite fascinating to watch how she values their sentiments and listens to them straight away because that is not at all how I was raised.

In order to keep their faces out of the spotlight, the proud parents typically don’t show their faces when they share a photo of their girls.

But occasionally it does happen, as the image below demonstrates:

Nicole celebrated Faith Margaret’s 9th birthday by wishing her a Happy Birthday on Instagram by posting a picture of her as a baby.

“Our baby girl is now nine years old. Sweet precious girl, you have our undying love. She wrote, “Faith, have a fantastic birthday! xx” next to a cute picture of her.

After nearly 14 years of marriage, Nicole and Keith sold their house in Nashville and now spend most of the year on their family farm in Australia.

The couple follows strict ground rules despite their combined wealth and numerous homes in Australia and the United States.

They have a “no laptops in bed” rule in addition to prohibiting televisions from being used in their bedrooms, as do the majority of sane parents.

“We’re pretty picky about what we allow within our house when it comes to working.” It was the best choice I’ve ever made to get rid of my workplace, which I used to have in my home. She reportedly said, “I eventually went, ‘This is not a good thing,’” as quoted by Country Fan Cast.

Although Nicole was born in Hawaii and Keith was born in New Zealand, the pair has some limitations for their daughters.

In a Vanity Fair interview from last year, Nicole said, “They don’t have a phone, and I don’t allow them to have an Instagram account, and I try to keep some sort of boundaries.”

Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24, are Nicole’s children with her first husband, Tom Cruise, who starred in the Mission Impossible movies.

The Days of Thunder and Moulin Rouge actress claims that Sunday and Faith have their father’s musical talents by playing the piano and the violin, respectively.

The sisters both worked as extras on the set of the acclaimed television series “Big Little Lies,” which sparked an interest in the movies. Sunday expressed a desire to direct, which made her mother very happy.

Before boldly declaring her mother, “I want to be a director,” her daughter, according to the mother, briefly contemplated becoming an astronaut.

And I just thought, “wow,” Nicole continued. “Right there is progress,” “Yeah, I can be a director,” said the little girl.

Faith, who her family refers to as “Fifi,” has landed her first voice-over part in Angry Birds 2, following in the footsteps of her mother.

On the other hand, her devoted Oscar-winning mother maintains that it is challenging to have your children share your goals.

Nicole told People magazine, “I’ve found you can’t really get kids into anything.” “You can push them a little, but getting them motivated is hard. Nobody pushed me to pursue acting; in fact, they made an effort to put me off.

Nicole says that because she is Keith’s biggest fan, she can instantly recall his tour dates. She respects both his musical prowess and his father’s ability to raise their two children in a loving, stable environment.

As Nicole mentioned in a recent interview with Today magazine, “He’s such a wonderful man. My husband is a fantastic person. And it’s nice to be able to say that the children have a lovely father.”

Keith Urban frequently travels with his three daughters when he performs shows.

Keith Urban’s two daughters and Nicole may be seen joining him on stage in the video down below. Not only is it an unique sight to see them all dancing around the stage, but it also makes me happy.

Such a sweet family, serving as a reminder that no matter how much money you have, spending time at home with our loved ones is what makes us truly happy.
