Aaron Carter, the musician and the brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, passed away at the age of 34, his representative announced.

The American artist opened for the American boy band on a number of tours and concerts, and he also had a successful solo career, releasing several albums while still a child.

TMZ reported that the singer, who now raps, was discovered dead in his California home on Saturday, November 5. According to TMZ, Aaron’s body was located in his bathtub.

“We’re just as upset as everyone else, and we hope that fans may send their thoughts and prayers to his family,” they stated.

The Los Angeles County Police Department also reported that officers arrived at Carter’s home at 4200 LA Vista Drive in Lancaster, California, on Saturday and discovered the body.

In 2019, he claimed that he was manic depressive and had been diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, and severe anxiety while appearing on The Doctors.

He also revealed the following post.

“The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, severe anxiety, and manic depression,” Carter, 31, says in a TMZ sneak peek video before listing the medications he takes. “I’m taking Xanax, Seroquel, Gabapentin, Hydroxyzine, Trazodone, and Omeprazen.”

At this time, we are sending our thoughts and prayers to his family.
