Samantha Weinstein, a voice actress and “Carrie” star, passed away at 28. Her untimely passing following a protracted battle with cancer was reported by those close to the Canadian actor on Weinstein’s Instagram.

They wrote, “Sam passed away at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto on May 14 at 11:25 a.m., surrounded by her loved ones. She is off on her next adventure after two and a half years of cancer treatment, a lifetime of traveling the world, providing voices for several cartoon characters, creating music, and understanding more about life than most people will ever know.”

According to Love What Matters, Weinstein first disclosed her ovarian cancer diagnosis in 2020 at 25. The “Carrie” actress remembered the agonizing anguish she felt following surgery.

“I was very pale and emaciated,” she said. “Standing up alone and walking without a cane took me several weeks. I had never had to take strong painkillers or deal with persistent pain.”

Even yet, the actor made an effort to find the positive in every situation, even the most trying ones. The worst thing that has ever happened to her was being diagnosed with cancer, yet it has been the best thing in the weirdest of ways. “I experience more love in my life than I ever could have dreamed, and I consider each day a blessing.”

Samantha got married to her soul mate after learning she had cancer.

Even though Samantha Weinstein had a cancer diagnosis, she still managed to fall in love. Only a few weeks after learning of her diagnosis, Weinstein received an unexpected visitor in the form of Michael Knutson. She told Love What Matters that Knutson had messaged her at random, and the two had clicked right away.

The “Carrie” actor was anxious to inform Knutson of her ovarian cancer, but she needn’t have worried. “I told him I had been diagnosed with a rare ovarian germ-cell yolk sac tumor, and I would be starting chemotherapy in just a few months,” she said. I held my breath, tightly closed my eyes, and anticipated the inevitable rejection, yet it never materialized. Not only was there no rejection, but their love also grew.

The pair got married just two years after they started dating. On their wedding night, the Canadian actor posted a cute picture with the remark, “The best day of my life. On October 29, 2022, I tied the knot with Michael Knutson, my lifelong companion in crime and best friend. Here is merely a glimpse of the most stunning day ever.

Despite getting married in 2022, the couple didn’t go on their honeymoon until early May 2023, when they flew to Japan, according to Instagram. Even though they had a great time on their trip only a few weeks before Weinstein, unfortunately, passed away, their love will endure.
