Halle Berry, the Oscar-winning star, has taken her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, to court over concerns about their daughter’s hair. The actress, who dated Aubry from 2005 to 2010, claims that he has been relaxing and bleaching their daughter Nahla’s hair without her consent.

Nahla, who was born in 2008, has natural curly hair which Aubry allegedly straightened and lightened over the past year. In addition to this, there are reports that Aubry used racially abusive language towards their daughter. Halle is determined to protect Nahla and ensure she maintains a positive self-image.

Halle repeatedly asked Aubry about the changes in Nahla’s hair, but he denied any involvement. Frustrated by his refusal to address the issue, Halle took the matter to court. The result was that Nahla’s natural curls returned, illustrating the significance of Halle’s concerns.

In her testimony, Halle expressed her belief that Aubry’s behavior reflects an underlying attitude that contributes to these changes in Nahla’s hair. She stated, “I strongly feel that Gabriel’s same underlying attitude is at the root of the changes, which only he could have been causing to our daughter’s hair.”

Halle, who is now married to French film actor Olivier Martinez and has a son named Maceo, is determined to protect Nahla’s identity and ensure she feels confident and secure in her appearance.
