David Hasselhoff is a heart attack waiting to happen, and doctors have advised him that he must slow down or risk dying prematurely.

The former Baywatch star, 66, recently had a defibrillator implanted to prevent a heart attack and expressed his concerns at a restaurant following a doctor’s appointment.

“He stated he was having his last bad meal and would have to modify his habits from then on,” an eyewitness added. “He was yakking to anyone who would listen about a vacation he was planning to Greece.”

According to the source, the actor was not looking at his usual gorgeous self: “He was smiling, but he was thin, and he has started looking old,” stated the witness. “He’s got a defibrillator implanted to keep his heart on track.”

“His years of boozing must have truly taken a toll on him,” the insider added, despite Hasselhoff’s rep’s denial. “He attempted to play it off but was nervous and worried.”

Hasselhoff, who married former model Hayley Roberts, 39, last year, sobered up in 2007 when a video of him drunk, shirtless, and clumsily eating a cheeseburger off the floor went viral.

The actor has admitted to attending Alcoholics Anonymous sessions, although he avoided discussing his final drink in 2015.

“That’s such a personal issue that it’s tough to answer,” Hasselhoff stated. “I take each day as it comes.”
