One day, young Braydon went shopping with his mother at a large Walmart store in the US. It wasn’t long before his mother became alarmed when she realized he had disappeared.

At first, she wanted to scold him for wandering off. But she hesitated when she saw him kneeling and praying in front of a sign board. Curious, she took a closer look at the wall.

“I had to run into Walmart,” Braydon’s mother recounted. “I looked back to make sure my son was by my side.” But to her dismay, he wasn’t there. In just a matter of moments, Braydon had managed to create some distance between himself and his mother.
Finally, she found him kneeling in front of a sign, deep in prayer. This sight took her aback, and she couldn’t help but ask him what he was doing. As she approached the sign, she understood the reason behind Braydon’s behavior.
The sign read, “Every second counts,” accompanied by photographs of missing children. Little Braydon, after leaving his mother’s side, had prayed to God, hoping that these missing kids would find their way back home. It was a powerful and touching moment.
The heartwarming picture of Braydon and the story behind it quickly spread like wildfire on the internet. In fact, after coming across Braydon’s tale, the Facebook page dedicated to Aubrey Jayce Carroll, a young boy missing since 2016, decided to pay tribute to him.
While not knowing who Braydon was, the page commented, “I would like to thank you for your prayers for these children… Aubrey Carroll is one of my cousins out there. This touches me deeply. If only I knew where he was or who he was, I would love to thank this child in person.” The impact of Braydon’s heartfelt prayer was truly remarkable, as it resonated with people’s desire to bring missing children back home.
Braydon’s picture, showing him kneeling in front of the sign, has been shared on Facebook over 115,000 times. This serves as a powerful reminder that more than 800,000 children are reported missing in the US every year, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
