In a recent interview with This Morning, Caitlyn Jenner talked openly about her current relationships within the Kardashian-Jenner family. While she still maintains a good relationship with her daughters Kylie and Kendall, her relationship with ex-wife Kris Jenner has changed significantly over the years.
Caitlyn admitted that she no longer has direct communication with Kris and that their interactions are limited to conversations through their respective managers. “When you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others,” she explained. “I’m much closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don’t really have any more contact with her. It’s kind of sad because we went through a lot.”
Caitlyn and Kris were married for 24 years until their divorce in 2015. Caitlyn came out as transgender shortly after the divorce was finalized. Since then, their relationship has had its ups and downs. Caitlyn described the current state of their relationship as “very sad.”
Reflecting on their early days together, Caitlyn shared that she first met Kris on a blind date when she was turning 40 and struggling with her identity. They hit it off immediately, getting married just five and a half months later. Together, they built an empire and experienced numerous challenges along the way.
On October 8, Caitlyn Jenner will release her latest three-part tell-all series titled “House of Kardashian.” The documentary will delve into the family dynamics, scandals, personal struggles, and controversial business deals that have shaped the Kardashian-Jenner family over the years.
This documentary offers a unique perspective, going beyond what we’ve seen on shows like “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and “The Kardashians”. Importantly, the Kardashian family has no editorial control over the documentary.
Caitlyn expressed her intention to showcase a different side of the story and share her love and pride for her children. “You know the Kardashian side and a little bit of the Jenner side, but I think a lot of times in the media you get totally misrepresented.
I wanted to do it just to say first of all how much I love my kids, and second of all how proud I am of them and what they’ve been able to accomplish. It is an amazing story,” she explained.
Contrary to expectations, the documentary focuses on celebrating the positive aspects of the Kardashian-Jenner family’s journey. Caitlyn wants to counter any negative narratives and highlight the accomplishments and resilience of her family.
