The famed 83-year-old actor has had a lengthy and illustrious career that includes a number of well-known characters, including the renowned Hannibal Lecter. He was nominated for an Oscar for his work in the film The Father.

Through his erratic love life, he has been married to three different women. Consequently, who is Anthony Hopkins’ current partner? Stella Arroyave’s life as Anthony Hopkins’ wife is explored in depth here.

In 1966, Hopkins married Petronella Barker, an actress. She is a British native who has been in a number of miniseries and TV shows in Europe, including Fox Greenland, Kodenavn Hunter, Rekyl, and Neste Sommer.

Parker and Hopkins only had one child together, Abigail, who was born in 1968. Hopkins asserts that because of the couple’s 1973 divorce, he is currently estranged from his daughter, whom he hasn’t seen in more than 20 years.

Hopkins’ second wife was a production assistant for movies named Jennifer Lynton. According to rumors, she began dating the Nixon celebrity in 1972, while he was still legally married to Petronella Barker. The couple married on January 13th, 1973, after more than 25 years of dating.

The couple did, however, spend a lot of time apart despite their prolonged marriage, particularly after Hopkins found success in Hollywood in the early 1990s. Some people believe Hopkins’s desire to remain permanently in the United States is what ultimately led to the breakdown of their marriage. The couple settled their divorce in 2002.

Stella Arroyave (also known as Stella Hopkins) was born on March 20, 1956, in Popayán, Colombia. She is an actress, director, and writer. Before she met her famous husband, she worked as an art dealer in Colombia. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to open her own antique shop.

She first encountered Anthony Hopkins in 2001 when he came into her store in search of furnishings. After she and Hopkins began dating, Arroyave made the decision to explore acting, and she appeared in a number of movies, including The Human Stain and Slipstream, which starred Nicole Kidman and Hopkins. They were married in 2003 and started a family.

With the indie 2020 film Elyse, Stella Arroyave recently made her feature film directing debut. The movie, which was partly shot in black and white, tells the story of a mentally ill catatonic woman. The film’s screenplay, which Arroyave also wrote, starred Anthony Hopkins. So how was it managing the career of her well-known husband?

She referred to him as “a terrific professional” in a recent interview with Variety. “He handled the actors, me, and the set in the same manner that he would have handled any other filming location. He asked me what I thought, and we had several good debates after he asked for my viewpoint.”

Arroyave goes on to argue that since her husband is a co-owner of the company that paid for the movie, she should acknowledge his contribution to its creation.

“We have a very successful art enterprise called Margam Fine Art”, she remarked to Variety. ” I was aware that I couldn’t go insane. The majority of people believed it couldn’t be done, but I finished filming the movie in 13 days. It is exclusively a union movie. I stuck to my budget.”

When Hopkins first met Arroyave, he was going through a trying moment in his life, and he credits his wife with helping him overcome his hopelessness. In a 2012 interview with Evening Standard, the Red Dragon actor said: “She met me ten years ago when I was shut down.  I was a little depressed at the time. Nobody can be trusted. Females are definitely not trustworthy.”

He declared, “I married a great woman who has fundamentally altered many of my self and life beliefs. She radiates strength and optimism. When I was a young man, I used to become enraged at everything. We don’t do it anymore because I’m married to a person who detests disagreements.”

Hopkins, who just celebrated his 45 years of sobriety with an emotional video on his Twitter feed, also asserts that his wife has altered his perspective on life. ” Every morning when she wakes up, she smiles.” He observed that she always has a positive attitude on life. ” She taught me to just take things as they come. I consequently live an expectancy-free life.””
