Earlier this month, some bombshell claims were made by Angelina Jolie in documents submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court. Jolie, star of “Tomb Raider,” alleged that Pitt had been physically abusive towards her in the years leading up to the infamous airplane incident that led to their divorce.

In 2022, Pitt sued Jolie and her former company Nouvel for selling her half of the winery. Pitt claimed that they had agreed not to sell their shares without the other’s approval, and he argued that Jolie had jeopardized the reputation of the business he had worked so hard to build.

Jolie retaliated by accusing Pitt of becoming physically abusive during a plane ride from France to California in 2016. She claimed that Pitt had “grabbed” her “by the head” and also physically abused two of their children.

Newer reports suggest that the physical abuse from Brad began earlier than previously believed. According to documents from Jolie’s legal team submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on April 4, Pitt’s history of physical abuse extended before the September 2016 plane trip. This flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well.

Pitt has maintained his innocence. However, Jolie recently accused her former husband of trying to “bleed her dry” in newly filed court documents. She claimed that Pitt’s lawsuit was just another example of his unrelenting efforts to control and financially drain her. Jolie also alleged that Pitt’s false allegations about the reasons the Miraval deal failed could only be proven by exposing his history of physical and emotional abuse.

Despite this ongoing legal battle, it seems both parties are experiencing financial strain. An inside source revealed that Jolie believes Pitt is draining her financially, while Pitt has been supporting Jolie financially despite her vindictiveness.

It is evident that this troubled relationship has taken a toll on both Jolie and Pitt. The custody battle has been long and arduous, with both sides presenting conflicting information. However, a judge ultimately granted Pitt 50/50 custody, highlighting the complexity of the situation.
