Amanda Bynes hasn’t recently appeared in any films. The 36-year-old was once among the most well-known actors, with millions of people enjoying and watching her shows and movies.

The actress now appears to be going through difficult times once more.

When Amanda Bynes phoned emergency services on herself, she was put on a 72-hour mental detention. According to a source familiar with the matter, she hasn’t spoken to her family in a long time.

On March 19, the actress was spotted going around the streets of Los Angeles while entirely naked. After that, she flagged down a passing car and dialed 911 for assistance.

The actress reportedly told the driver she was recovering from a mental episode. A 5150 psychiatric detention was then placed on her at the neighboring police station when experts judged it necessary.

Bynes’ longstanding counsel declined to comment on the incident on March 20.

One year has passed since the dissolution of Bynes’ conservatorship at the time of this episode. Her choice to have her conservatorship terminated was backed by her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes. Since 2013, the former child actress has been under conservatorship. In 2017, her conservatorship over the estate came to an end.

Bynes stated in a statement read by her lawyer David Esquibias on March 22, 2022, “I have been working hard over the last few years to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.”

The actress added of regaining control over her life, “I am pleased about my following projects — including my fragrance line — and look forward to revealing more when I can.”

The decision to dissolve the conservatorship was taken by Ventura Superior Court Judge Roger L. Lund, who stated that it was done so because “grounds for the establishment of a conservatorship of the person no longer exist.”

Bynes has been residing in a “structured community for women” since 2022, according to information provided by her attorney during the petition to terminate the conservatorship. This allowed her to maintain an independent lifestyle while having a case manager she needed to check in with occasionally.

The actress has recently spoken out about her struggles with substance misuse. She described her everyday life after quitting acting as “just stuck at home, getting high, watching TV and tweeting,” in an interview. “I got really into my drug usage, and it became a dark, sad world for me,” she said.

Bynes continued, “I’ve been clean and sober for almost four years now,” She gave her parents credit for “really helping me get back on track.”

The 90’s Con, held from March 17 to March 19, was where the actress was scheduled to appear. However, her presence had been postponed because of “illness.”

Her All That co-stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell sent their good wishes to the actress at the convention.

Mitchell stated, “I’ve simply been praying for her. “We’re just keeping up our prayers for her as she travels, and they’ve been heard because she’s doing much better.”

We hope for a quick recovery for actress Amanda Bynes and that she is doing well. The past few years have been difficult for Bynes. She is in our prayers right now!
