Prince Archie received a bike with training wheels from neighborhood bike shop proprietors and flowers for Meghan.

On his fourth birthday, Prince Archie received a bike personally delivered by the proprietor of the neighborhood store.

The proprietors of Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop in Montecito, California, were contemplating Prince Archie as the globe awoke on May 6 and prepared to witness King Charles’ coronation.

Business co-owner Martin, a British national, decided to give Archie, the son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, a unique birthday gift, according to business owner Jennifer Blevins.

According to Blevins, “He went, and he picked up one of our tiny specialized kids’ bikes, which are really cute little bikes, and he said, ‘This one’s ideal, it’s got training wheels.’”

He then responded, “Okay, I’m going to bike over and take it to their house,” after going to get some birthday balloons, flowers for Meghan, and a card.

When Martin arrived, according to Blevins, security asked him if he had a royal invitation as they came out from behind the home’s gate.

Blevins chuckled, “He said, ‘I’m just a British business in town that wanted to give Archie a gift.’”

Martin was given permission to leave the gift of flowers, a card, balloons, and a bike after security conducted an on-site background check on him, according to Blevins. Fast-forward a month, and she said that on Wednesday, she received an unexpected delivery at the shop.

“A courier came by our little shop on Coast Village Road, and he dropped off that letter,” referring to a thank-you message from Meghan and Harry.

“It was a thank-you note I had jokingly predicted would be there,” said Blevins.

“It was so thoughtful because, you know, they took the time to write something personal and not just a generic thank you,” she continued.

Harrison Colcord from the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan shared the letter on the bike shop’s Instagram.

“Please accept our sincere gratitude for the kind present you sent to Prince Archie for his fourth birthday on behalf of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The family loves the bike and finds it a great source of joy. They requested me to let them know how appreciative they were of the nice surprise.”

The wonderful note, according to Blevins, stunned her, Martin, and the entire staff of the bike business. No one anticipated anything in return, as it was a “impromptu” and “very sincere” gesture to give Archie the bike.

She recalled, “Every celebrity in that town has purchased a bike from us, and they all pass through there. None of them sent a thank-you letter.”

According to Blevins and Martin, they hope the present leaves a lasting impression on the family.

As Lily gets older, she can also appreciate it; it will be a favorite of both of them.
