According to a new story, Tom Cruise does not appear to be on a quest to see his youngest daughter.

According to a source, the “Top Gun: Maverick” star hasn’t seen Suri Cruise, 16, “in a very long time and is not a part of her life.”

Tom’s relationship with his daughter deteriorated after his 2011 divorce from Suri’s mother, Katie Holmes. According to the story, their relationship has only become more distant.

For more than a decade, there has been suspicion — and, to some extent, evidence — that Scientology, Tom’s favorite religion, had a role in the estrangement. Tom was asked in his 2012 defamation complaint against Bauer Media if the “Dawson’s Creek” actress left him “in part to protect Suri from Scientology.” He responded, “That was one of the assertions, yes.”

Scientology prohibits members from engaging with non-members. Suri and Katie are not Scientologists.

“This is his loss, his issue, his problem,” a Page Six insider said in 2016. “He must be brainwashed.”

Suri looks to have a typical teenage life in New York City, even without her father’s assistance, and she’s passionately close with her mother.

“My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now,” Katie told Town & Country in 2017.

“It’s critical that I’m present and that she has a secure, innocent childhood,” she added. “I consider myself extremely fortunate to do what I do, but nothing beats seeing your child succeed.”
