Tina Turner is in mourning following the sudden death of her “beloved” son Ronnie, who died at the age of 62.

“Ronnie, you left this world far too soon.”  On Friday, the singer posted an Instagram selfie of herself with her eyes closed, with the caption, “In pain, I close my eyes and think about you, my lovely baby.” The image was black and white.

On December 8th, Ronnie passed away. It is unknown what caused his death at this time; however, he had been suffering from a number of health issues, including cancer, in recent years.

Following Ronnie’s death, his widow, Afida, rushed to Instagram to pay passionate tribute to her late husband, the actor.

“My Ronnie turner into a true angel” Afida Turner captioned a carousel of photographs of her late spouse. “Mummy, your nurse, I did everything I could to save you this time, but I was unable to do so. I am devastated.”

They had no children as a couple.

Ronnie passed away shortly after his older brother, Craig, had committed himself by shooting himself in the head in 2018 at the age of 59.

Tina told the BBC three months later, “I still don’t know what pushed him over the line since at that point he had mentioned to me that he had never met a woman that he felt that way about.”

“He was going to introduce her to me for his birthday in August, and we were going to spend time together. He’d already furnished and decorated the apartment I’d bought for him several years before. He was overjoyed with his new position at a well-known real estate firm in California, which he had lately gotten.”

“I think Craig was lonely, and I think that’s what got him more than anything else,” she added. “I have visions of him smiling all around me, and I get the idea that he’s in a joyful place,” she explained. “I truly believe it.”
