Is there a more cherished holiday tradition today than the Elf on the Shelf joke? It not only adds to the season’s attractiveness, but it’s also entertaining for adults. Every night, you get to plan a fresh surprise for your children. What a blast!

If you’re looking for ideas for your Elf on the Shelf, consider parent Jacqueline Garcia, who has earned recognition for the hilarious practical jokes she uploads on her TikTok page.

Millions of people have viewed the mother’s TikTok page, @jackie o12, which started with a video she released a few years ago.

In the video (which has received over 1.3 million views), her Elf on the Shelf, known as Alabaster, played a clever prank on Garcia’s 5-year-old son, Alex, by ripping holes in his pajamas while he slept.

“He got the scissors and shredded my entire clothing,” he stated, pointing to Alabaster and telling his mother.

The footage also showed how clever Alabaster hacked a hole in the seat of her son’s panties.

But, sadly for Alex, this was not Alabaster’s final trick. In another video, Alabaster decorated him with a mustache while he was sleeping.

The mother captioned the video, “Silly Elf is at it again!”

When is the last time you took a selfie with someone else? Or ride a magical swing to surprise a 5-year-old child (i.e., a paper mask attached to the doorframe). And when we say Alabaster, we hope it’s clear that Garcia is putting in the work.

Without a doubt, the mom’s “floor is lava” stunt from December 16, 2020, is one of her most popular videos. She not only hung Alabaster from the wall in the video, but she also surrounded her son’s bed with a labyrinth of red Solo cups (the “lava”), making it difficult for him to get out when he woke up.

Garcia claimed in a reaction video, “Alabaster did that!” Even the sign that accompanied Alabaster was humorously misinterpreted by him, ” The ground is lava

“Alabaster put all the bottles,” he argued.

That’s close enough for now.

Garcia mentioned to CafeMom that she like to keep her ideas simple.

She explains, “I attempt to take little games and blow them up to suggest that the ground is lava.”

She “walks around my house and tries to piece things together from various stuff around the house” after he goes to bed, she claims. “I make the most of what I already have because I’m a single mom and can’t afford to spend too much money on anything.”

And she made the most of her resources.

The mother was able to put her son in elf pajamas without disturbing him. The ensemble consists of red pajamas, a handcrafted collar, and a Santa hat.

As he appreciated his new clothes the next morning, her son said, “I turned red!” He looked exactly like Alabaster.

“It was Alabaster!” he said.

“He couldn’t believe it,” the mother captioned the video. He spent an eternity staring at himself in the mirror.

Garcia described the inspiration as unexpected.

“I just had the notion to make them twins when I was browsing for clothes for him and noticed the red onesie,” she says.

Alabaster has no plans to surrender his title as the King of Practical Jokes. Alabaster appears to be up to his old tricks. On December 2, 2021, for example, he is seen moving Alex’s bed across the room before stretching out on his own bed.

“I built the elf’s bed out of popsicle sticks from his schoolwork, using his little socks as a pillow and a scarf as the blanket,” the mother explains.

Alabaster has previously been spotted out and about with Garcia and Alex, as seen by a video from December 11, 2021, in which he unexpectedly appeared at their table. Alex yelled when he found Alabaster hiding behind a menu. “Look at how enthusiastic he becomes,” the mother captioned the shot.

The smile on her son’s face is ultimately what motivates her to continue using the Alabaster pranks.

Garcia reveals to CafeMom that “he likes the elf.” “He looks to check what he did that day when he wakes up every morning.”

The mother also wants her films to make people happy.

“I just hope others love them and are inspired to do something fun for their children,” she says.
