Tom Brady, the 7-time Super Bowl champion, has made it clear that he will not unretire from the NFL, no matter how many times the idea is brought up.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray, the topic of unretiring came up again. Their special guest, Jimmy Donaldson (better known as Mr. Beast from YouTube), jokingly suggested that Brady’s ratings would skyrocket if he returned to the field.

Brady responded firmly, stating, “I am NOT coming out of retirement.” He acknowledged Mr. Beast’s suggestion as smart but emphasized that his family is the primary reason for his decision. Even when Jim Gray, his co-host, tried to convince him otherwise, Brady stood his ground, saying, “My parents would call, my kids would call. They would kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight.”

It’s important to understand the context. Tom Brady retired from the NFL for the first time on February 1, 2022, after 22 years in the league. However, he returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after just 40 days and played the 2022 season. He then retired again on February 1, 2023, for good, as he put it.

“As I said, you’re only allowed one un-retirement. And I’ve used it up,” Brady explained on his podcast in response to Jim Gray’s suggestion for a more original idea to boost ratings. He humorously added, “So at this point, I’m just looking forward to being in more of your videos ’cause my kids don’t think I’m s–t,” addressing Mr. Beast directly.

Brady acknowledged Mr. Beast’s influence on the younger community and how his three children, John ‘Jack’ Edward Thomas, Benjamin Rein, and Vivian Lake, are more likely to listen to Mr. Beast than their own father. He admitted that Mr. Beast has a lot more influence and humorously stated, “So I’m actually trying to stay on their good side.” Perhaps a collaboration between Tom Brady and Mr. Beast could be in the works.

A Legendary Collaboration: Tom Brady and Mr. Beast

Imagine the collaboration between Tom Brady, the current G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) of YouTube, and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. It would be legendary, and it wouldn’t matter what they do – people from all around the world would tune in.

If you’re interested in seeing this exciting collaboration, the good news is that the wheels are already turning. During a recent podcast, Mr. Beast invited Tom Brady to be a contestant in one of his YouTube videos and even provided a preview of what that collaboration might look like.

Mr. Beast explained, “Yeah, come on down. It’d be fun to have you as a contestant. Imagine my viewers, they just click on a video and it’s like a hundred people competing and then just randomly it’s Tom Brady. They’d be like, what the heck? It’d be so funny.” Doesn’t that sound like something you would watch?

Tom Brady seemed to like the idea, but there was one condition – they have to pick a competition that makes him look good. Brady said, “I’ll do it. We just gotta make a competition that I’m somewhat decent at. You can’t bury me alive or something like that!” Even in retirement, the burning desire to win still fuels Brady.
