The Benefits of Rose and Apricot

This specific combination offers a wide range of wellness properties for the complexion:

Soothing and Calming: Roses are traditionally used to help reduce redness and calm sensitive skin.

Anti-Aging Support: The natural compounds in roses help with wrinkle reduction and provide deep nourishment.

Skin Balancing: This cream helps to balance the skin’s natural oils while providing a brightening effect.

Deep Hydration: Apricot oil is known for its ability to absorb quickly, allowing the skin to “drink up” the moisture without a heavy residue.

Traditional Rose & Shea Vitality Cream
Ingredients:

1/2 cup Rose-infused apricot oil (prepared by steeping dried roses in the oil for 6 weeks).

1/4 cup Raw shea butter.

1/4 cup Rose hydrosol (rose water).

1 tablespoon Beeswax pellets (to help emulsify and protect the skin barrier).

Instructions:

Melt the Base: Place the rose-infused apricot oil, shea butter, and beeswax in a glass bowl over a pot of simmering water (a double boiler). Stir gently until completely melted.

Cool Slightly: Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool until it starts to look slightly opaque but is still liquid.

Emulsify: Using a hand mixer or a small whisk, begin stirring the oil mixture. Very slowly, pour in the rose hydrosol in a thin, steady stream while continuing to mix.

Whip: Continue whipping the mixture until it transforms into a light, creamy, and fluffy texture.

Store: Transfer your cream into a clean glass jar. Store it in a cool, dark place. Because this recipe contains water (hydrosol) without synthetic preservatives, it is best to use it within 3โ€“4 weeks or keep it in the refrigerator to extend its freshness.

How to Use
Apply a small amount to your face and neck after cleansing. Since the cream is deeply moisturizing, a little goes a long way. Gently massage it into your skin using upward circles to encourage circulation and absorption.
