College student Marcus, 19, came home, tired from his part-time job, only to find his stepmother, Karen, urgently ordering him to vacate the house in just three days. She wanted to make space for a new baby, or so she claimed.

Feeling both exhausted and upset, Marcus protested her abrupt decision. However, Karen was persistent.
“I plan to get the house ready for the baby, maybe do some renovations, and frankly, Marcus, you’re just going to get in the way,” she said bluntly.
To Marcus’s dismay, his father, Tom, seemed to side with Karen, which left Marcus feeling deeply hurt and betrayed.
With nowhere to turn, Marcus thought of his Aunt Rose and decided to reach out for support.

Upon hearing Marcus’s plight, Aunt Rose was quick to reassure him, saying, “Do nothing. I’ll be there soon,” infusing Marcus with a shimmering ray of hope.
True to her word, Rose arrived promptly and wasted no time in confronting Karen and Tom. She revealed an unexpected truth – the house legally belonged to Marcus, owing to his late grandmother’s will.
“You have absolutely no right to make Marcus leave this home because, in reality, it’s his,” Rose stated firmly, leaving everyone around them dumfounded.

As events unfolded, Karen’s falsehood regarding her pregnancy unraveled. Rose, having noticed Karen indulging in wine, demanded the truth.
“There is no baby,” Karen confessed at last. Witnessing the deception firsthand, Tom reacted with shock and disbelief, soon insisting that Karen vacate their home.
“That’s enough. Now, pack your things and leave,” Tom unequivocally instructed.
With Karen finally gone, Tom turned to Marcus, offering heartfelt apologies.
“I’m truly sorry, Marcus. From this point on, I promise to put you first,” Tom pledged, and with that, father and son began to mend their fractured relationship.
