Simone Biles' Parents Who Took Her from Foster Care Aren’t Fans of Her ‘LA House’ in Houston

Simone Biles is an extraordinary athlete and a role model for many. With 7 Olympic medals to her name, she has achieved remarkable success in gymnastics. However, it was her decision to prioritize her mental health during the 2020 Tokyo Games that truly captured the world’s attention.

Biles made a courageous choice to withdraw from the competition due to experiencing the “twisties,” a phenomenon where an athlete loses the ability to sense their body movements in the air. She recognized the importance of mental well-being and understood that it is just as crucial as physical health.

Since then, Biles has taken the time to focus on herself and her mental well-being. She also celebrated an important personal milestone by marrying the love of her life.

Now, exciting news has emerged! USA Gymnastics has announced that Biles is ready to make her return to the sport. Fans eagerly anticipate seeing her in action at the upcoming 2023 US Classic in August. Joining her are other remarkable gymnasts, including Olympic gold medalist Sunisa Lee and 2020 Olympic floor champion Jade Carey.

A Challenging Childhood and a Passion Found

Simone Biles’ journey to success wasn’t without its difficulties. She and her siblings faced a tough upbringing and experienced hunger in their early years. With a mother struggling with substance abuse, their neighbors intervened and social services stepped in to ensure their well-being.

Biles and her sister Adria were fortunate enough to be adopted by their grandparents, Nellie and Ronald Biles. This allowed them to grow up together with the love and support of their family. Gymnastics entered Biles’ life during a field trip to a local gymnasium. Little did she know that she possessed incredible talent, which became evident to all the professionals who saw her in action.

Her parents recognized her gift and wholeheartedly supported her journey as a gymnast. They even went on to build their own gym, the World Champions Centre, so that Biles could train with her coach full-time.

A New Chapter and Future Success

In 2023, Biles celebrated two weddings with NFL player Jonathan Owens. Their love story led them to a civil wedding in the US and a more lavish destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. Biles now resides in her beautiful Houston home, a modern and minimalist space that reflects her style and taste.

While her parents, Nellie and Ron, may have different preferences when it comes to homes, Biles reminds them that it is her own space and reflects her individuality. Her Houston property, valued at $2 million, offers a black-and-white interior, a cozy living room, a stunning L-shaped pool, and a backyard featuring swings as chairs.

Despite her current home, Biles and her husband have already started building a new one together. They recently shared photos on Instagram, marking the groundbreaking of their dream home on a vast plot of land surrounded by trees and overlooking a beautiful lake.

As construction progresses on their new home, Biles continues to embrace her life in Houston. The gymnastics champion spends time outdoors by her pool and shares glimpses of her lovely property on Instagram.

Simone Biles has everything she needs to lead a fulfilling life – a loving family, a supportive partner, and an unwavering passion for her career. At just 26 years old, she still has a bright future ahead of her, and we can expect to see her continue to dominate the gymnastics world for years to come.
