Selena Gomez has finally opened up on what exactly went down on the red carpet in Cannes, France. Appearing on the Talk Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 26-Year-Old answered the question that’s been hovering on everyone’s mind since watching the Cannes Film Festival.

Selena Gomez was snapped at Cannes last month, where Bill Murray, 68, was seen whispering into her ear.

Both Selena and Murray are cast members in Jim Jarmusch’s new Zombie movie titled, The Dead Don’t Die.

Viral footage and photos had emerged last month, showing Bill Murray whispering to Selena on the red carpet. The two are cast members in Jim Jarmusch’s new Zombie movie titled, The Dead Don’t Die and are also friends. During the talk show, the singer told Fallon “Bill’s great,” to which he replied: “You never know what he’s gonna do.”

On her appearance on The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon, the singer revealed what the veteran actor said.

The 26-Year-Old acknowledged the pics of them looked “weird” but said Bill was just saying “dumb things.”

Selena added: “No, I never know. I don’t even know If he’s going to show up. That’s just the way he lives.” Then Fallon brought a pic of the co-stars on the red carpet, where Murray was seen whispering to Gomez and said: “Everyone’s like, “what is he whispering to Selena? What is he saying to her? What is it?”

The dumb things include “you look great tonight” and a tease “where are you from?”

Selena and Murray’s friendship is undeniably blooming. Are you a fan of the duo?

Selena then responded, saying: “It wasn’t even – first off, that just looks kind of weird, but he was just saying dumb things. Like, he would just lean in, and he’d be like, ‘You look great tonight.’ And then he’d look back serious; he’d be like, ‘Where are you from?’ And I would just, like, sit there, and I’m trying to, you know, be poised.”

Frankly, Selena’s response is typical Murray’s behavior.

And to that, Selena has dubbed Murray, a ‘fun big kid.’

The singer’s response is typical of Murray’s behavior. Selena continued: “It’s fine; that’s what he did all the time. In press conferences, he would, like, try to hit me with things. He’s fun. He’s a big kid.” The Vanity Fair had earlier asked Murray what he said to Selena, to which he said: “I don’t remember what I said. I was trying to keep her at ease.”

Amid the NYC Premiere of The Dead Don’t Die, Murray initially said he thought he wouldn’t like Selena.

But he instantly liked her upon meeting with her and had claimed if his mother were still living, he wouldn’t mind introducing her to the singer/actress.

Amid the New York City Premiere of The Dead Don’t Die, Murray had also said he initially thought he wouldn’t like Selena upon meeting with her but realized he likes her. He claimed if his mother were still living, he wouldn’t mind introducing her to the singer and actress. However, the love seems mutual as Selena, in a recent post, showed a slideshow of photos from the Cannes Film Festival and captioned it: “By the way, Bill Murray and I are getting married.”

The love seems mutual as Selena had joked she & Murray are getting married via one of her Instagram posts.
