Ozzy Osbourne was caught grocery shopping in Los Angeles a few days after his wife Sharon was admitted to the hospital for a medical emergency.

This week, Ozzy Osbourne was photographed in Los Angeles picking up groceries with the assistance of a walking stick. He appeared to be quite weak. After a fall in 2019 aggravated an existing neck ailment, the Black Sabbath leader now always walks with the use of a walking stick.

Ozzy Osbourne, 74, was spotted shopping without his wife Sharon, 70, who had just been released from the hospital after suffering a medical emergency while watching a supernatural television show.

The Black Sabbath frontman seemed quite fragile as he picked up items while leaning on his walking stick or the cart itself.

Ozzy was photographed buying groceries at Erewhon Market in Los Angeles on Monday. He was wearing a grey tartan jacket and black sweatpants.

This comes as Ozzy recently admitted he “can’t walk much now” as a result of a fall in 2019 that aggravated a neck issue caused by a quad bike accident in 2003.

Ozzy revealed his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2020, over a year after exacerbating the neck ailment that is currently causing the musician major movement issues.

Ozzy Osbourne was spotted at Erewhon Market in Los Angeles on Monday, when he was assisted by a man who was hanging onto the cart for stability. The musician strolled around the posh shop to stock up on supplies after his wife Sharon was given the all-clear to leave the hospital.

Sharon has since spoken out, assuring her Instagram followers that she is “back home and doing well” while sharing a happy holiday photo with her dog.

The hitmaker was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003, and in 2019, he experienced a horrible fall that aggravated an existing neck injury from a quad bike accident in 2003. According to the NHS, Parkinson’s disease is a condition in which parts of the brain gradually degenerate over time. The most common symptoms are delayed movement, tight or inflexible muscles, and excessive trembling in certain body parts.

Ozzy Osbourne’s quad bike accident on his English rural estate in 2001, in which he shattered eight ribs and a neck vertebra, resulted in nerve damage that was reactivated by a fall in 2019. The actor was left with 15 screws in his back, nerve soreness in his neck, back, shoulders, and arms, and a fear of receiving “bolts in his neck” after spinal surgery.

Ozzy Osbourne returned to the stage in August, just two months after undergoing “life-altering surgery,” for the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in his birthplace of Birmingham. Ozzy said in an interview with The Sun earlier this month that he was warned he would be permanently crippled after undergoing his first spinal surgery in 2019.

Ozzy Osbourne says he would want to keep traveling, but he has serious mobility limitations. “I want to be carrying it out,” he said in a recent interview. “This surgery had to be done. You’ve got no idea. The truth is that I can still think clearly, be creative, and sing, but I can’t fg walk very far anymore.”

“You have no idea how annoying life has become. It’s amazing how life moves forward and how one bad mistake may ruin everything for a long time. I’ve never felt unwell for so long in my life. That doctor warned me that if I didn’t get the procedure, I would become paralyzed from the neck down.”
