Louis Mark Roderick Stewart was born to Liam and his soon-to-be bride on May 12.

Rod Stewart’s son Liam has popped the question.

The 28-year-old hockey star and Nicole Artukovich shared a combined Instagram photo on Wednesday to reveal their engagement. The picture shows the couple smiling and gazing into each other’s eyes. His soon-to-be wife rests her hand tenderly against Liam’s chest while displaying her diamond engagement ring, and he encircles her shoulder.

The caption on the photo was “Forever,” the couple wrote.

52-year-old Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster left the soon-to-be newlyweds this kind message: “So magical, congratulations.”

Liam’s brother Alastair wrote, “1 vibe,” and Ruby responded, “It’s about time! I love you two. Congrats!”

The Stewart family has lately expanded. On May 9, Ruby, 35, and her partner Jake Kalick gave birth to a boy called Otis, and on May 12, Liam and Artukovich welcomed their son Louis.

Louis’ birth was announced by his parents via a picture on Liam’s Instagram with the comment, “Welcome lad! you Brits, Kiwis, Croats, and Americans. 5.12.23. Louie Mark Roderick Stewart.” A tribute to Liam’s well-known father is made through the middle name Roderick.

When Liam’s son was a week old, he posted another picture of the infant looking up at the camera. “I’m in love with you, little fellow,” it said.

Later that month, the siblings’ 78-year-old rock star father posted pictures of himself with the family’s newest members.

Stewart posed, holding his brand-new grandkids in a lovely composite photo. “Happy grandad,” he wrote as the caption for the picture.
