Priscilla Presley thanked the fans for their support following Lisa Marie Presley’s untimely death. The singer-songwriter was rushed to the hospital on January 12, shocking the entertainment industry.

According to TMZ, Lisa went into apparent cardiac arrest and her ex-husband Danny Keough performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived to take her to West Hills Hospital. Priscilla updated the situation in a statement to People during the turbulent time. “My dear Lisa Marie was taken to the hospital,” she said. “She is currently receiving the best care.”

Unfortunately, the talented performer died later that evening at 54. “It is with a sad heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement to Today.

“She was the most zealous, brave, and loving lady I’d ever met.” Following Lisa Marie’s tragic death, her family received condolence messages from industry admirers and colleagues, including former friend Leah Remini and ex-husband Nicolas Cage. Priscilla appears to be thanking the public for its support and encouraging messages.

After Lisa Marie Presley’s death, fans took to social media to express their condolences, best wishes, and prayers to her family. The singer’s mother, Priscilla Presley, issued an emotional statement on Twitter thanking fans for their support.

“Thank you so much for attempting to assist me in coping with this loss,” she said. “Every parent who has lost a child can relate to the ‘dark, painful road,’” according to Priscilla.

Fans quickly responded by sending encouraging notes to Elvis Presley Enterprises’ former chairperson. “As someone who has lost a child, one user tweeted all my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.”

“I wish you grace and peace on your road to recovery.” Another admirer wrote: “Priscilla, we love you. Aside from that, there isn’t much I can say because no words can adequately express how devastated we are for you.”

Priscilla sent a heartfelt letter a few days after Riley Keough, Lisa’s daughter, tweeted the final photo she took with her beloved mother. “I feel privileged to have a photo of the last time I saw my wonderful mum,” she wrote on Instagram.
