Jason Momoa’s admirers are quite taken aback after learning about his current romantic involvement. The Aquaman actor, now 45, has moved on from his divorce with Lisa Bonet, aged 56, and has introduced a new special someone into his life.

This news, however, has led some fans to express their unease, voicing their dissatisfaction with Momoa’s latest romantic endeavor.
Momoa and Bonet surprised everyone when they revealed their split in January 2022. Their journey started back in 2005 when they crossed paths at a jazz club in Los Angeles, brought together by mutual friends. For Momoa, it was a dream realized, having long admired Bonet since he first saw her in The Cosby Show.
The couple’s tale took a significant step forward when they officially became husband and wife in 2017. Together, they have two children, a daughter, Lola Iolani, born in 2007, and a son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, born in 2008. Additionally, Bonet is the mother of Zoë Kravitz from her previous marriage to musician Lenny Kravitz. Momoa embraced his role as stepfather, and the family shares a warm and close-knit bond.
Earlier this year, in January, Bonet finalized her divorce from the Game of Thrones star.

The notable Fast X star is reportedly involved romantically with 32-year-old actress Adria Arjona, sparking considerable interest among followers.
Momoa hinted at being in love during a Comic Con event and, when asked if he was single, the actor replied, “I’m very much in a relationship,” as shown in a video of the event. He added he had been in this relationship for some time and appreciated the privacy they enjoyed. Momoa confirmed that “everyone has kind of [left me alone], but – yeah, thank you very much.”
Adria Arjona is seen as a rising star in Hollywood, showcasing her talents in movies like Morbius and the Netflix film Hit Man alongside Glen Powell. Her breakout role was as Dorothy Gale in the TV series Emerald City, and her career has flourished with several significant projects.
Prior to her blossoming romance with Momoa, Arjona was married to lawyer Edgardo Canales, whom she wed in 2019, though details of their separation aren’t well known. The newfound couple reportedly met on the film set during the production of Sweet Girl in 2019.
In a subtle nod to his budding romance, Momoa shared picturesque scenes from a trip to Japan on Instagram, which included Arjona in some of the images.

There’s been talk about the noticeable age difference between the pair and startling similarities in appearance. Some observers have commented that Arjona bears an uncanny resemblance to Momoa’s daughter, with remarks such as, “This new girl looks a lot like Lola.”
Others added perspectives like “Looks like his daughter. A bit young for him I would say…” and pondered, “Does anyone else think his new girlfriend looks like a grown version of his daughter?”
