The late actor Patrick Swayze’s widow denied outrageous rumors that she routinely beat her husband while they were married, even while he fought cancer.

The Dirty Dancing actor was married to his former dance partner Lisa Niemi for 34 years before passing to pancreatic disease in September 2009 at the age of 57.

The couple, who met when they were only 15 years old, were thought to have one of Hollywood’s healthiest and happiest marriages.

An unnamed source who RadarOnline identifies as a longtime acquaintance of the couple claims that the actor, who previously starred in the film Ghost, was the victim of domestic violence.

The friend also claimed that as Swayze’s cancer treatment came to a close, Niemi would frequently ignore him when Don, his primary caretaker, was abroad, leaving the actor to suffer in filthy clothes.

Niemi angrily denied the accusations, telling MailOnline that they were “completely false.” Really, it’s that simple.

The unnamed buddy told RadarOnline that after what they claimed was a year-long inquiry, “She (Niemi) would beat on him and she would pound on the walls and furniture.  They argued, and I kept a lot of it hidden. They destroyed their house, motels, and cars. It was aggressive.”

When questioned if Niemi would hit Swayze during his 21-month fight with cancer, the friend allegedly said, “Oh absolutely, it didn’t matter.  She would pull at his arms and neck with her nails instead of beating him with items. She would strike and smack him.”

His weight dropped from 180 to 90 pounds due to cancer. She always had the upper hand since he never hit her. He was adamant that he shouldn’t ever touch her.

The acquaintance claimed that Niemi would set restrictions on Swayze’s spending, his ability to see friends, and his ability to take acting assignments.

Swayze’s childhood friend Charlotte Stevens is said to have convinced the actor to leave Niemi after learning the actress had affairs with both men and women.

“‘You imply that you haven’t exposed her while she is having these affairs, right?’  I would question him.”  He would say, “No, I don’t want that used against her.”

However, Niemi’s agent told Gossip Cop on Tuesday that her client was not familiar with Charlotte Stevens.

Swayze and Niemi got married in 1975 before Swayze got his big break in the coming-of-age movie Dirty Dancing in 1987.

He also made appearances with Demi Moore in the movies Ghost, Point Break, and the horror movie Donnie Darko.

Early in 2008, the actor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; nonetheless, he passed away in September 2009. The couple was without children.

Four years after her husband’s death, in December 2013, Niemi announced her engagement to jeweler Albert DePrisco.

The couple married in May 2014 at the Mar-a-Largo Club in Palm Beach in front of 50 guests.

DePrisco, 58, wore a dinner jacket by Ermenegildo Zegna with fitted pants while Niemi wore an Oscar de la Renta dress.
