Oregano oil and cloves

Why This Combination Works
Oregano Oil: Contains high levels of carvacrol and thymol. These phenols act as natural “shields” that can penetrate the cell membranes of harmful microorganisms, effectively neutralizing them.

Cloves: Rich in eugenol, cloves are unique because they are one of the few natural substances capable of destroying parasite eggs, not just the adult organisms. This helps break the lifecycle of the infection.

Internal Wellness Recipe: The “Cleanse” Tea
This recipe uses whole cloves and oregano oil to create a supportive internal environment.

Ingredients
3โ€“4 Whole Cloves (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves).

1โ€“2 drops of high-quality, food-grade Oregano Oil (look for a “supplement facts” label).

1 cup of hot water.

1 slice of Lemon: The acidity helps stabilize the active compounds.

1 teaspoon Carrier Oil (like Olive or Coconut oil): Essential step. Oregano oil is “hot” and can sting; mixing it with a carrier oil before adding it to water protects your throat and stomach lining.

Instructions
Steep the Cloves: Place the whole cloves in a mug and pour hot water over them. Let them steep for 8โ€“10 minutes.

Prepare the Oregano: While the tea steeps, mix your 1โ€“2 drops of oregano oil into a teaspoon of olive oil.

Combine: Remove the cloves (if desired) and stir the oil mixture and lemon slice into the tea.

Drink: Sip slowly. It is best to drink this after a meal to prevent stomach upset.

Topical Anti-Fungal Recipe
For external issues like toenail fungus or skin irritation, a more concentrated topical application is effective.

Ingredients
5 drops Oregano Essential Oil.

5 drops Clove Essential Oil.

2 tablespoons Carrier Oil (Coconut oil is preferred for its own antifungal properties).

Instructions
Mix all oils thoroughly in a small glass dropper bottle or jar.

Apply a small amount to the affected area twice daily.

Note: Always perform a patch test on your wrist first to check for sensitivity.

Important Safety Guidelines
Short-Term Use Only: Due to the potency of oregano oil, do not use the internal tea for more than 10โ€“14 days at a time. Long-term use can affect your beneficial gut bacteria.

Dilution is Mandatory: Never consume or apply oregano or clove oil undiluted; they are strong enough to cause tissue irritation or “chemical burns.”

Contraindications: These oils can thin the blood. Avoid them if you are on blood thinners, scheduled for surgery, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Children: Consult a pediatrician before using these potent oils with children under the age of 12.
