Nostradamus’s Prophecies for 2024: “Famine is Coming”

It is believed that Nostradamus, the French astrologer, accurately predicted the rise of Adolf Hitler and the outbreak of World War II.

Although Nostradamus published his book “Les Prophéties” in 1555, his popularity has endured due to the 942 quatrains believed to foretell the future. Here are Nostradamus’s predictions for 2024.

Nostradamus’s Predictions for 2024

The French astrologer Michel de Nostradame, also known as Nostradamus, published his book “Les Propheties” nearly 500 years ago. His infamous books contain 942 quatrains that seem to predict the future.

He is said to have predicted the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the September 11th terrorist attacks, and even the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, according to interpretations of his quatrains.

For 2023, he predicted a global economic disaster – “The price of wheat will rise so high / That man will be eating his fellow man,” he wrote in one of his quatrains.

Although the world was shaken by post-COVID-19 economic slowdown and a growing cost of living crisis, the prophecy was somewhat exaggerated. However, according to many reports, more than 70 percent of his prophecies have come true so far. Here are some of Nostradamus’s predictions for 2024:

The French astrologer predicted that in 2024, the world would witness climate chaos. “The dry land will become even drier,” he predicts in a quatrain, “and there will be great floods.”

Elsewhere, he warns of a “very great famine through wave pestilence,” with the last phrase referring to a potential tsunami that disrupts agriculture, allowing diseases and famine to take hold.

If such predictions prove to be correct, we may witness even more destructive climatic events in 2024 than we have seen thus far.

In the past, China has flexed its military muscle several times in regions around the South China Sea and Taiwan, mostly through its naval power.

Nostradamus also predicted something similar to contemporary experts but centuries ago. In one of his verses, he wrote about “a struggle and naval battle.” He specified that “the red adversary will become pale with fear. Filling the great Ocean.” The great ocean here could suggest the Indian Ocean, and the term “red adversary” is a reference to communist China.

In one quatrain, Nostradamus refers to a character he calls the “King of the Islands,” who had a controversial divorce and is “forcibly expelled.” Furthermore, he wrote that this king is replaced by “one who will have no royal sign.”

Analyst and author Mario Reading, who wrote the book “Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies,” said that with the “King of the Islands,” Nostradamus could be referring to King Charles III. He could be forced to abdicate due to “persistent attacks on him and his second wife.” In the same book by Reading, Nostradamus predicted the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

The exact meaning of the phrase “weak sight” is, of course, open to debate. Does it mean that the church’s influence will somehow diminish or that there will be some major scandal on the horizon? Or will there be a short-sighted Pope? Only time will tell.
