Moringa Seeds

Blood Sugar Balance: Moringa seeds contain compounds that may help regulate glucose levels, supporting a steady metabolism throughout the day.

Heart and Circulation: Rich in monounsaturated fats (like those in olive oil), these seeds support healthy cholesterol levels and promote smooth blood flow.

Natural Defense against Inflammation: The seeds are packed with phytonutrients that help soothe joint discomfort and reduce oxidative stress in the tissues.

Digestive Cleansing: High in fiber, they act as a gentle broom for the digestive tract, aiding in regularity and nutrient absorption.

Liver Support: They contain specific polyphenols that help protect the liver from oxidative damage, assisting in the body’s natural detoxification.

Skin and Hair Vitality: The oil within the seeds, often called “Ben oil,” is incredibly nourishing for the skin and helps maintain a youthful glow from the inside out.

Traditional Moringa Seed “Vitality” Tea
Because Moringa seeds are very potent, it is traditional to start with a small amount. This tea allows the beneficial oils and nutrients to be released in a gentle, digestible way.

Ingredients:

2 to 3 Moringa seeds (shelledโ€”the white/cream kernel inside).

2 cups of filtered water.

Optional: A slice of fresh lemon to add a bright note to the nutty flavor.

Instructions:

Prepare the Seeds: Remove the dark outer shells and the “wings” from the seeds until you have the small, round white kernels. Crush them lightly with the back of a spoon to open them up.

Boil: Place the water in a small pot and bring it to a boil.

Simmer: Add the crushed seeds to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let them simmer for about 10 minutes. The water will turn slightly cloudy as the nutrients are released.

Steep: Turn off the heat and let the tea sit for another 5 minutes.

Serve: Strain the tea into a cup. You can also eat the softened seeds after drinking the tea if you wish.

A Thoughtful Suggestion
Moringa seeds are quite powerful and can have a mild laxative effect if you are not used to them. It is best to start with just one or two seeds a day to see how your body responds. As always, if you are managing a specific health condition, a quick conversation with your healthcare provider is a respectful way to ensure this fits your routine.
