Angelica was born on May 6, 2018, and she was stunning. She had a lovely heart-shaped port wine stain on her face, a charming button nose, and lovely eyes.
Marianna Bowering, Angelica’s mother, noted that although many of her friends and relatives understand Angelica’s birthmark, some individuals still need to make remarks about her daughter’s appearance.
“The worst internet remark I ever received was when someone questioned whether her face had been forced onto a skillet,” Bowering said.
Marianna disclosed that her daughter had experienced harsh comments, including being called “hideous” and a “defect.” These statements’ brutality and insensitivity only exacerbated the family’s difficulties, but their tenacity and resolve to get through them finally produced a stunning turnaround.
Bowering is doing everything in her can to ensure that Angelica grows up understanding that she is beautiful exactly the way she is despite the crude remarks.
The mother, 27, recently decided to imitate her 5-year-old daughter’s birthmark on her face using cosmetics.
According to The Epoch Times, Bowering claimed, “I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day when they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks. At first, I used my makeup to create a heart, but then I thought, why not go out and create Angelica’s port wine stain?”
Marianna was upset when some people said that the facial spots on her kid would go away with time, while others said she could cover them up with makeup if she wanted.
These comments only exacerbated the mother’s anguish and annoyance as she questioned why her daughter should be forced to conceal her inherent beauty rather than embrace it.
It served as a painful reminder of the terrible realities that await those who do not meet the expectations of beauty. Still, it also emphasized the value of acceptance and love for everyone regardless of appearance.
Bowering and her husband didn’t think their daughter’s birthmark was something they or she should be ashamed of from the beginning. They actively seek to ensure that they know the need to celebrate it.
Bowering added glitter to Angelica’s port wine stain before the matching “birthmark” to “make it shine.”
While Bowering told TODAY that Angelica is healthy, children with port wine stains on their faces are at risk for serious health issues.
Fortunately, testing shows that Angelica is entirely healthy, according to Bowering. “We require routine examinations, particularly for her eyes, because glaucoma may be a problem.”
You’re very stunning, Angelica. Never listen to anyone who tries to convince you otherwise.
Marianna, thank you for being a wonderful mother and constantly reassuring your kid that her birthmark is normal.
