The 46-year-old actress, who plays renowned American photojournalist Lee Miller in the film, fell while filming in the Kupari village.
In photographs obtained by Croatian media, the star is seen arriving at Dubrovnik Hospital in a black vehicle with a group of people.
Kate slipped and was sent to the hospital as a precautionary measure by the production, according to a spokeswoman for the on-screen star.
She is fine and will film this week as planned.
A new movie starring Kate about Lee Miller, a former Vogue cover girl turned war correspondent, was announced in 2020.
