On a recent episode of “Red Table Talk,” Jaden Smith and his family gathered together to address their health concerns and embark on a journey towards improved well-being.

Joined by his parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, sister Willow, and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, the 21-year-old opened up about his intense stomach issues and his determination to find a solution.

Jaden candidly shared his apprehension about seeking help due to the backlash he faced for his decision to go vegan. People would approach him in the street, expressing concern and offering assistance.

However, with the support of his family, Jaden decided to take a step forward and enlisted the help of Dr. Mark Hyman and nutritionist Mona Sharma to conduct a thorough analysis.

Dr. Hyman shed light on Jaden’s nutritional deficiencies, attributing them to the consumption of improper foods and a lacking meat-based diet. Gluten and dairy, in particular, were identified as “big problems” for Jaden. Furthermore, his choice to abstain from meat resulted in vitamin and omega-3 deficiencies.

The solution offered by Dr. Hyman was an adjustment in Jaden’s diet combined with the incorporation of supplements. As the stomach issues resolved, Jaden’s dietary options would expand, and his health would return to normal. With a bright outlook, Dr. Hyman assured Jaden that he would soon be rocking the world once again.

However, this was not the first time that Jaden’s health had become a pressing concern for his family. During a previous episode of “Red Table Talk,” Will and Jada expressed worry over his extreme diet, revealing that he was only eating two meals a day, occasionally even just one. This unhealthy eating pattern led to a decline in Jaden’s physical appearance, energy levels, and sleep quality.

The severity of the situation became all the more apparent when Jaden was hospitalized for nausea and dizziness while in Australia. Will and Jada decided it was time for an intervention, recognizing that Jaden’s vegan lifestyle was insufficient in providing him with the necessary protein and nutrients. His appearance had deteriorated, marked by dark circles under his eyes and a grayness to his skin.

The Smith family has consistently demonstrated their commitment to addressing both their mental and physical well-being. Recently, Will even shared footage of his successful colonoscopy, highlighting the importance of taking care of one’s health. He emphasized the need for commitment and the occasional discomfort that arises from making healthier choices.

In sharing their personal health journeys, the Smith family hopes to inspire others to prioritize their well-being and embark on their own path toward a fulfilling and vibrant life. Join them in their commitment to lead healthy and happy lives, making the most of every glorious year that lies ahead.
