Henry Winkler’s Insight into LA Wildfires Sparks Attention as Footage Confirms Suspicions

Many have taken note of Henry Winklerโ€™s idea that an arsonist might be causing the terrible wildfires in LA. People who experienced loss, anger, and sorrow due to these fires are eager for both answers and accountability for the vast damage inflicted.

On January 8, 2025, the actor, fondly remembered as The Fonz from Happy Days, expressed his suspicions on X, posting, โ€œThere is an ARSONIST here in LA. May you be beaten unrecognizable!!! The pain you have caused!!!โ€

His post has reached over 2 million views.

At the time of his post, the LAPD couldnโ€™t confirm exact origins or causes for the series of fires, but assured that investigations were ongoing.

While some initially brushed off Winklerโ€™s claim as โ€œrumblings,โ€ footage later surfaced suggesting he might have been right all along.

A viral video, which gathered more than 6.5 million views, described โ€œPeople lighting fires in non-burning urban areas of LA.โ€

This shocking video depicted individuals tossing flammable objects into a huge blaze in Santa Monica, California, with onlookers staring in horror as the flames swelled, endangering nearby flora.

A retweet warned, โ€œStay safe and report any suspicious activities as soon as possible. We cannot afford more flames out here.โ€

Tragically, some chose to worsen the disaster through their reckless deeds.

One comment stated, โ€œDisgusting. It feels like LA is under siege. Fires are everywhere. Stay safe!โ€ In the wake of the devastation, thousands of homes, businesses, and valued landmarks have been lost, with reports indicating the loss of 24 lives.

An arrest has been made concerning the wildfires, though police have yet to disclose the suspect’s identity.

According to Fox News, the arrest occurred around 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday, in the vicinity of Arcos Drive and Galendo Street. Local residents witnessed a man on a bicycle, carrying a torch, attempting to set old Christmas trees and trash cans ablaze. Thankfully, they were able to detain him using zip ties until law enforcement arrived.

Social media users were enraged by videos showcasing arsonists compounding the chaos, demanding they be held accountable immediately.

โ€œArrest them all now,โ€ demanded one individual. โ€œThis feels like a third-world country.โ€

โ€œDid you get the name of the person you saw lighting the fire? We need to know!โ€ another exclaimed.

โ€œI canโ€™t believe this!โ€ someone else added. โ€œThis is so evil.โ€

โ€œWhatโ€™s with these arsonists? What are they trying to achieve?โ€ came another query.

โ€œMore than 99% chance there are bad actors going around taking advantage of the chaos.โ€

Reactions across social media, coupled with evidence from videos, corroborate Henry Winklerโ€™s conclusion of arsonists being involved.
