Gunter Nezhoda, a member of the cast of A&E’s smash reality TV show “Storage Wars,” died on March 21 at 67. Gunter died of lung cancer, according to his son and fellow “Storage Wars” star Rene Nezhoda.

Gunter had chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer in September. Nevertheless, the procedure caused holes to grow in his lungs. Gunter was reportedly scheduled for emergency surgery, but doctors determined there was no way to save his life.

Gunter appeared in seven “Storage Wars” episodes between 2015 and 2019. He also appeared in several films, including “The Haunting at Death Valley Junction.”

He has a wide range of creative abilities, having played bass alongside prominent guitarists such as George Lynch, Leslie West, and Pat Travers. He was also a professional photographer, working for corporations such as Microsoft, Big-O Tires, and Ford.

With the passing of Gunter Nezhoda, loving ones are reflecting on the beloved reality TV star’s life. Rene Nezhoda, Gunter’s son, spoke up about his father in a video for TMZ.

He extended his appreciation to fans, stating, “My father was one of the individuals on ‘Storage Wars’ who never received much criticism. Everyone, including the workers, enjoyed being around him… Everyone enjoyed working with my father, so I appreciate all the encouragement.” He stated that he had kept his father’s health information hidden and hoped he would recover.

Gunter loves making and uploading videos on his YouTube channel, in addition to his various performance and on-screen talents. The Austrian native produced a range of content, including videos of him shopping for used automobiles, purchasing abandoned storage vaults, and providing advice on esoteric topics like audiophile CD collecting.
