Expressing oneself through tattoos has become quite common today. People are opting for intricate and quirky designs to showcase their individuality. However, not many have taken it to the extreme like Ethan did.
Ethan’s journey into body modification started at a young age of 11 when he decided to stretch his ears. And from there, his fascination with transforming his body only grew. He underwent various procedures, including splitting his tongue and even removing his belly button. But it’s his extensive tattoo collection that grabs the most attention. From head to toe, Ethan is covered in ink. And he did not spare any expense, spending approximately $60,000 AUD (around $39,000 USD) to achieve his distinctive look.
However, with time, Ethan has come to realize that he has some regrets about his past choices. In an interview with LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, he confessed, “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos. Not just regret, I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently.”
Ethan is now concerned about the judgment he faces in everyday situations, especially when he takes his young daughter to school. He shares his worries, saying, “The face is a big thing that can lead to so many problems. It’s something I wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she’s older. I wish I hadn’t gone as extreme on my face.”
To redefine his image, Ethan has taken the bold step of undergoing painful laser surgery to remove some of the tattoos he got when he was younger. Describing his journey, he explains, “I’ve been getting laser surgery for almost 12 months now. It’s a slow process, but I’m committed to it. Over the next two years, my face tattoos will become less prominent. I’m just clearing the canvas.”
