Elvis Presley, also known as “The King,” was married to Priscilla Presley from 1956 to 1973. However, the 76-year-old actress and entrepreneur has recently been forced to reject health-related reports.

Following the death of the rock star in 1977 and the subsequent death of his father Vernon, Priscilla took over as president of Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), which was in charge of transforming Graceland, the star’s former home, into one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

The celebrity, who has also had a successful acting career, appears to have escaped countless rumors during her career. Some of the most dramatic are that she is suffering from memory loss and that serious ailments such as skin cancer are wreaking havoc on her health.

In 2019, RadarOnline and the Enquirer reported that the star was planning her own funeral after being diagnosed with skin cancer.

The tabloids went so far as to suggest that Priscilla had “secretly sought out Graceland’s trustees about being buried there” because she “still believes of herself as Elvis’s widow and her appropriate burial place is next to him.”

After the article was released, Priscilla issued a statement warning readers not to “believe anything you read.”

“Don’t start planning my funeral just yet; I’m in great health,” the celebrity remarked, though she didn’t formally confirm or deny being diagnosed with skin cancer. ” Never planned to rest next to Elvis. What will they come up with next?”

In February 2020, new allegations surfaced about the actress’s health, stating that a source close to Elvis Presley’s ex-wife was “worried” about her.

According to the source, Priscilla has begun to “slow down,” citing RadarOnline once more.

Rumors about her “forgetting a lot lately” and “drifting off” in the middle of sentences also spread.

Unimpressed, Priscilla took to social media to reject these charges once again.

“As I already stated, I am in excellent health.”

“Don’t bury me yet… I have far too much to accomplish in this lifetime. I’m not sure where these odd things are coming from.”

Instead of rejecting the claims, Priscilla seized the opportunity to promote an upcoming event at Graceland. She ended the letter by humorously adding, “I’m looking forward to seeing you,” and urging everyone to come.

The celebrity hasn’t made any specific comments on how she remains healthy, but she has previously stated how much she values her family and makes an effort to spend as much time as possible with them.

In a 2016 interview with The Guardian, the actress revealed that she disliked getting older because it meant she wouldn’t be able to see her twin granddaughters grow up.

“Oh, I despise getting older,” she said. “Anyone who claims otherwise is deceiving you. Who really wants to grow old and die? It would be amazing to watch my twin granddaughters grow up and see who they become, but there’s a chance that won’t happen, which is really disappointing.”

Many people, like Priscilla, dislike becoming older since it may be a stressful time. According to the Mayo Clinic, many patients begin to notice changes in their cardiovascular system, joints, bones, and muscles, memory, and digestive system.

However, there are techniques to strive to stay in top condition for as long as possible, so there is still hope for the elderly. The NHS places a high value on diet and exercise.

The health group recommends that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate activity every week. It is recommended to perform this in ten-minute bursts throughout the day.
