Johnny Depp has been quite busy, touring with his band Hollywood Vampires and visiting Cannes and London to promote his new film, Jeanne Du Barry. However, he has been forced to postpone all of his remaining engagements because of a serious injury.

The actor, who is presently promoting his most recent movie all over the world, announced on Instagram that he had to postpone the remaining dates of his tour and gave a justification for doing so, including the cancellation of his scheduled appearances with Hollywood Vampires.

He started by saying, “My dear friends, I’m sorry to say that I have a cast on my ankle; it’s a drag.” “It started out as a hairline break, but between Cannes and The Albert Hall, it worsened rather than improved.

“I’m currently unable to travel because several medical doctors have strongly advised against engaging in any activities,” he said.

“In light of this, the lads and I really apologize for missing you in Boston, New Hampshire, and New York, but worry not—we pledge to make it up to those who paid for those gigs by bringing an outstanding show to all of you in Europe and bringing our best to the East Coast later this summer!”

“Again, sincerest and deepest apologies. All my love and respect, J.D.,” he signed off.

Hollywood Vampires’ Instagram account also posted an apology, and expressions of support poured in.

“Johnny has a painful ankle injury from his recent appearances, and his doctor has advised against traveling,” stated the message on their official page. “He is heartbroken by this change of events but is eager to recover so that all four Vampires can perform at their very best on the tour in Europe.”

Compliments for the actor included the following advice: “Get some rest. You require it. Get better quickly, and there is no need to feel regret. We all wish him good health and comfort, and we sincerely hope that he gets better soon.”

“Oh, that’s really sad but understandable,” another person commented. “I’m sending you some strength and hope Johnny gets better soon.”

The four-piece band called Hollywood Vampires consists of Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry from Aerosmith, and Tommy Henriksen. Jonny played slide, lead, rhythm, and keyboards for the supergroup, which was founded in 2012. He also provided backing and lead vocals.
