As a parent, you want to do all possible for your child. No task is too great, no cause is too insignificant, and no mountain is too large.

Why? Because you never want your children to feel afraid, sad, or alone.

When Ben Sowards, a parent from Utah, USA, received a phone call from his 6-year-old daughter, he knew he had to hurry to her school.

Valeria had a small accident, it turned out. It wasn’t risky, but Ben knew how mortified his daughter would be if she wet her pants.

Ben had an idea before leaving to pick up his daughter. He reasoned that there had to be something he could do to make his daughter’s situation less unpleasant, so he opted to make her laugh instead.

According to the Huffington Post, Ben put water over his jeans before getting in the car and heading to school.

When he arrived, he asked Valerie for her school bag because he needed to ‘hide’ something.

Valerie had no idea what her father was up to until she noticed the large wet stain on his crotch.

Things were OK once Valeria realized her father was in the same predicament.

“I knew she was embarrassed, but I figured if I could make her laugh, everything would be fine,” Sowards explained.

“She was completely irritated. But when she saw my jeans, she smiled and told me everything was fine. Every father recognizes the look I’m referring to. And we just walked out of the school as if nothing had happened.”

Ben only had to drive to school to pick up his kid. However, he went above and beyond since he didn’t want her to be embarrassed. What a wonderful father!

Many wonderful fathers are in the world, but few think beyond the box like Ben.
