Adrianna Edwards is a waitress at Denny’s in Galveston, Texas. As many individuals dream of a better life, her dream is nothing out of the extraordinary.

Adrianna has to walk seven miles to get from her house to work. That would mean five hours of walking. She is a dedicated and hard working individual, but the walk can be too much sometimes.

The industrious waitress said, “I’ve got to eat. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.”

God hears the prayers of those who trust in Him and provides what we need. This is why He blessed the waitress through a couple.

The couple, who wished to remain anonymous, said they overheard her story and were moved by her dedication and sacrifice. The couple then decided to give her a gift that they knew she could use.

They went to the Classic Galveston Auto Group on Broadway Street and bought a 2011 Nissan Sentra, not for themselves, but for the waitress.

They drove back to Denny’s and gave the keys to Edwards.

The woman who bought the car said, “[Adrianna] teared up, which made me happy that she was so moved by that.”

Now, Adrianna is the owner of the car and the couples didn’t ask for anything in return. They had one request.

The woman left a note for Adrianna. “I know it’s Thanksgiving, but I said, ‘Merry Christmas,’ and that, hopefully, someday she’ll just pay it forward.” she said.

Adrianna said that she was more than willing to do that because she knew how it feels to be on the receiving end of an act of kindness.

“I still feel like I’m dreaming. Every two hours, I come look out my window and see if there’s still a car there. When I see somebody in need, I’ll probably be more likely to help them out (and) to do everything that I can to help them out,” she said.
