With her husband, Mike Fisher, she has two kids, Isaiah Michael, 8, and Jacob Ryan, 4.

Carrie Underwood’s two sons are wishing her a happy birthday.

The “Denim & Rhinestones” singer shared adorable images on her Instagram Story on Friday of two letters her sons sent her in honor of her 40th birthday.

“Something Jake admires about me…” On her first post, Underwood wrote, along with three heart emojis and a photo of her 4-year-old son Jacob Ryan’s note.

The lovingly themed “Things I adore about mama” paper had items like “When she kisses me,” “How much she loves me,” “She’s gorgeous,” “Her snuggles,” and “When she dresses up.”

Underwood wrote, “4 Things Isaiah loves about me,” with a photo of her 8-year-old son Isaiah Michael’s letter on the next slide. Underwood’s oldest son said in the note, which read like a poem, “4 Things I adore about my mother! I adore her cuddles, kisses, singing, and, most importantly, her love!”

Underwood also posted some other photographs to her Instagram Story, including one of a birthday cake tower “made completely of cheese wheels” with a row of wines “beginning from 1983” behind it. She jokingly stated that she “felt understood.”

“For scale, I guess this is around 70 pounds of cheese!” The mother of two posted a selfie with the cake with a “Happy Birthday” topping and additional embellishments on the cheese wheels, including green grapes, figs, and flowers.

Earlier in the day, Underwood tweeted a snapshot of an omelet, raspberries, and a slice of bread on a plate to commemorate her birthday. “Breakfast in bed…” she captioned the image.

Soon later, her husband, Mike Fisher, sent a touching birthday tribute to the singer on Instagram.

“Happy birthday, sweetie!! The guys and I adore you!!! #happybirthday, “Fisher, 42, posted with a photo of Underwood holding her five-tier birthday cake.

Underwood also surprised fans for her birthday with a new song called “Out of That Vehicle.”

“Had some fun in the studio recently and wanted to share my new song ‘Out of That Truck’ with all of you for my birthday!” she posted on Instagram.

Underwood posted a behind-the-scenes video of the recording process in which she discussed the song’s inspiration.

“It was like having this memory, a nostalgic kind of song, where you kind of can’t get over somebody, but it’s because of all the physical marks that you left in a space, being the truck,” she explained, adding that some of those physical marks include “nail polish on the tailgate” and “dings on the door.”
