Bruce Willis’ followers and fans were informed by Moore, who was standing next to a photo of the Die Hard actor, that Willis would be ending his acting career.

According to Demi Moore, the family is going through a “challenging time” as a result of Bruce Willis’ unfortunate health diagnosis.

Moore posted a vintage photo of Bruce Willis with the comment, “To Bruce’s incredible supporters, as a family, we wanted to convey that our beloved Bruce has been suffering some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is hurting his cognitive abilities.

As a result of this and after careful contemplation, Bruce is leaving the profession that has meant a great deal to him.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, aphasia robs a person of their ability to communicate. It can have an impact on a person’s capacity for verbal and written language comprehension, speaking, and writing.

The syndrome is typically brought on by a head injury or by a stroke, although it can also go along with a number of degenerative illnesses.

Moore wrote, “We are so grateful for your ongoing love, sympathy, and support during this incredibly trying time for our family. We are dealing with this as a strong family unit, and we wanted to include his fans since we are aware of how important they are to both of you.”

The note ends, “As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up and together we plan to do just that. “Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, and Evelyn” signed off on it.

IMDB lists approximately 120 acting credits for Willis, who is 67 years old. He started off performing on Broadway stages before switching to cinema roles in the 1980s. The star will soon be seen in Vendetta as well as a couple other films that are presently in post-production.

While we are devastated by this awful news, we are confident that Willis and his extended family are in good care.
