Green described Doherty as a courageous person who has earned the friendships and well wishes she receives.
Green and Doherty’s friendship goes back to their days on 90210, where they portrayed David Silver and Brenda Walsh, respectively. Their friendship has endured throughout the years, despite Doherty’s departure from the show due to reported conflicts on set.
In a recent interview, Green provided an update on Doherty’s current status. He described her as an incredibly tough person and praised her resilience in the face of her cancer battle.
