The 62-year-old actor, well known for his roles in Blackadder and House, looked to be in a totally different frame of mind than usual as he was soaking in the low-key event.

While eagerly anticipating the launch of his new sitcom Why Didn’t They Ask Evans, Hugh was seen on Sunday walking his beloved dog. When Hugh was seen, he was wearing a pair of black jeans and sneakers.

Hugh basked in the sun, keeping warm with a navy pullover and a dark blue beanie. The combination of the two allowed him to avoid becoming too cold.

Based on the renowned 1934 Agatha Christie book of the same name, the intriguing murder mystery features an all-star cast. The same name was used for publishing the book.

Bobby Jones, the son of a vicar, is portrayed by Will Poulter, while Lady Frances Derwent, Bobby’s daring companion, is portrayed by Frances Derwent. They look into a murder together.

In addition, it stars well-known performers in the roles of Lady Frances’ aristocratic parents, Lord and Lady Marcham, played by Emma Thompson and Jim Broadbent.

Hugh acts as the show’s director in addition to portraying psychotherapist Dr. James Nicholson in the miniseries.

“I loved this book when I was a teenager, and I still do,” he said. The hairs on the back of my neck sprang up when I first really appreciated the beauty of the fundamental mystery, and they haven’t totally gone down since.
