Landon Bourque was hit by a truck on his way home from school. He was fifteen years old. He was hit by a truck on the first day of school, and it became his final day ever.

His parents sent his siblings off to school and then returned home, passing by his wrecked bike.


The accident happened near Roach Middle School on Independence Parkway and George Washington Drive. The driver attempted to assist the child in surviving, but his assistance was insufficient.

“Landon was a beloved member of the community,” according to Frisco ISD. The family will be saddened by his death, and our hearts go out to the Bourque family and loved ones.”

“He was just someone I was glad to have around,” said his high school classmate Nolan Swyres.
