Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

They were once the golden couple of Hollywood, capturing the hearts of millions with their dazzling star power. However, the love story between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has taken a dark turn, and their tumultuous divorce is now making headlines.

In a new court filing, Jolie has made a shocking allegation against Pitt, claiming that the “physical abuse” she endured started even before the infamous plane incident of 2016. This revelation adds another layer of strife to their already contentious separation.

The strong bond that once held them together has shattered, leaving behind broken fragments that cannot be ignored by the public eye. In 2022, Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie and her former company, Nouvel, over the sale of a French winery they co-owned. He asserted that Jolie’s actions had put their business’s reputation at risk.

Jolie, on the other hand, fought back by accusing Pitt of abusive behavior during a plane ride from France to California in 2016. She alleged that he grabbed her by the head and physically harmed two of their children.

Just days after the plane incident, Jolie filed for divorce, and their separation was officially finalized in 2019. Pitt vehemently denies these accusations, and despite a federal investigation, no criminal charges were filed against him.

Now, new reports suggest that Jolie’s legal team has submitted fresh evidence to the court, indicating that Pitt’s physical abuse began even earlier than previously believed. According to CNN, Jolie intends to present testimony, emails, photographs, and other evidence to substantiate her claims.

While the court papers offer little insight into the alleged abuse, they do reveal that Jolie refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) proposed by Pitt. This NDA aimed to prevent Jolie from publicly discussing the abuse she experienced at the hands of Pitt and its impact on their children, potentially damaging both his personal reputation and their business ties.

As of now, Pitt’s team has not responded to Jolie’s latest filing. However, a source close to Pitt stated, “This is a pattern of behavior – whenever there is a decision that goes against the other side, they consistently choose to introduce misleading, inaccurate, and/or irrelevant information as a distraction. There was a lengthy custody trial that involved the entire history of their relationship, and a judge who heard all the evidence still granted him 50/50 custody.”

The sad reality is that this once-beloved couple’s journey has taken a tragic turn. Their love story is now overshadowed by allegations of abuse and a bitter court battle that shows no signs of ending soon.
