Pausing for a brief moment, he replied, “No, not really,” before maintaining eye contact with Mandy and adding, “It’s just that the last time anything like this happened, a star appeared in the East, and three wise men came over the hill. I’ll be darned if I’m going to miss it this time!”

Her daughter was no Virgin Mary, and in a few months, they would welcome the arrival of a new family member.
